In the first semester, students learn the basic tools of video production and how they apply to archiving, grant proposals, and promotional materials. The SECOND semester is devoted to collaborative projects ranging from:

• Experimental work - synthesizing film grammar and choreographic concepts
• Multi-camera documentation combined with traditional documentary form (cinema verite and interviews)
• Creation of video for performance or installation (working with projection or monitors)

The course also involves lectures and screenings.
