level training for students in Level I ballet technique. Emphasis is placed on correct body alignment, awareness of musical phrasing and performance, knowledge of classical ballet vocabulary, and understanding of training principles. Placement audition required; placement by faculty. In the fall, students register for DPB 1230 and are then assigned to the appropriate Ballet Technique level.
