VIS1710 (non-Arts Majors) Line / Space / Color: a visual exploration of Antibes
Using their surroundings as subject, students explore drawing en plein air in Antibes. Open to all majors, students learn a new visual language (drawing) while studying French, focusing on the thinking, seeing, and hand skills needed in the translation of a subject, rather than realistic rendering. Students' experiences are enriched by gaining a visual arts perspective of Provençale architecture and landscape.
