First semester of a two-semester on-line course sequence for the study of the structure and function of the human organism. Topics include: cellular ultrastructure and metabolism, tissues and organs. Subsequently, the course will focus on the systematic study of both the anatomy and physiology for the integumentary, skeletal, nervous, and muscular systems.
