In this course, all aspects of the limited-edition artist’s book are explored. Artists’ books are a time-based medium, which occupy three-dimensional space. In this course, students learn how to approach the structured use of time in the book form, as well as how to incorporate book structures and image making techniques into their own content for artists’ books. Bookbinding demonstrations, critiques, readings and field trips are important components of the class.
