CIN/LST 3000– Cinema and Revolution focuses on the efforts of filmmakers to create cinematic forms that might represent one of the most important events of modern times: the revolution and its historical consequences. In seeking to locate a cinema that focus on the theme of revolution, we will not only examine film production which sets out to challenge the content and form of mainstream productions and alternative visions of communities, national identity, and history.  We will also address mainstream cinemas and how they represented the theme.
