This course is structured towards the dancer, but can be applied to any athlete or mover. We will be discussing body and space planes, physical orientations, the bony skeleton, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons, and injuries to these joints and muscles. The course is lecture-based with a few in class activities and two group projects. By the end of the course, you’ll be more knowledgeable about your own physical body, how it works, and its development.
