Students learn about Argentina’s last dictatorship (1976–1983) and the socioeconomic processes that led to the 2001 crisis and explore the collective process of memory in which Argentineans both remember and forget their recent traumatic past. In the classroom and in daily field trips, students analyze and participate in social movements and cultural organizations struggling for human and citizens’ rights, which emerged during and after the dictatorship.
